The ego wants certainty. The soul wants trust.

This tension... between certainty and trust, became one of the most defining lessons of my spiritual awakening. It’s something I write about openly in my book (Bread Crumbs from the Universe), because for me, learning how to take aligned action was far more difficult than learning how to listen to intuition.

I could feel the guidance.
I could sense the direction.
What I struggled with was moving forward without proof.

Why Aligned Action Feels So Hard...

Most people don’t struggle with intuition.
They struggle with trusting it enough to act.

You might feel the nudge already:

• a quiet knowing something needs to change

• a pull toward a new direction

• a sense that the old way no longer fits

But then the questions creep in:

• What if I make the wrong choice?

• What if this doesn’t work out?

• What if I regret it?

That’s the ego asking for guarantees — and it’s human.

Aligned action isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about learning how to move without certainty, while staying connected to yourself.

When the Ego Is Loud: Ace of Spades & Leo Rising

As an Ace of Spades, I carry the energy of mastery, responsibility, and inner authority. Add a Leo Rising, and the ego wants to lead confidently, be seen clearly, and know exactly where the path is going.

So when my soul whispered, “Trust this. Take the step,” my ego pushed back hard.

It asked questions like:

• What if this doesn’t work out?

• What if I make the wrong choice?

• Can someone just confirm this is the right move?

This is the ego’s language. It doesn’t trust the unseen. It wants certainty before commitment.

But spiritual growth — and aligned living — doesn’t come with guarantees.

The 1.1.1 Energy: Initiation Without Proof

January 1st (King of ♠️ energy) carries powerful 1.1.1 energy, a frequency of initiation, leadership, and identity. This isn’t just a “new year” moment — it’s a reset of how we lead ourselves.

1 energy asks us to:

• begin without evidence

• act without permission

• trust without a safety net

For the ego, this can feel destabilizing. For the soul, it feels like coming home.

Aligned action isn’t loud.
It doesn’t come from pressure or hustle.
It comes from clarity, timing, and inner permission.

For me, transformation didn’t happen when I finally knew what to do. It happened when I allowed myself to move forward without knowing how it would unfold.

That’s when the ego softened. That’s when trust took root and a just knew the timing was right.
